I LOVE to eat but I HATE to work out! Long walks downtown, with the dogs, or on the beach don't count as working in my mind. And "swimming" out in the ocean, trying not to drift out to sea or drown, doesn't count either. I hate going to the gym! I mean, really? The treadmill makes me feel like a zombie who isn't getting anywhere! And those machines at the gym? No thanks! They require you to be in positions that only your OBGYN should see you in. Right?
So needless to say, I want AMAZING tasting food that is nutritious, tastes fattening, but doesn't go to my hips. A friend's mom once told me I have "great Irish birthing hips." Was that supposed to be a compliment? All I know is...I don't need more help with those birthing hips!
(1) My new favorite dessert idea...The 3-2-1 cake. GENIUS! http://www.food.com/recipe/3-2-1-cake-455416

(3) If you don't know "Hungry Girl"...you should!!!
She has been on a couple of the cooking channels and has some great cookbooks that are Weight Watchers endorsed! I bought her "300 Under 300" (33 recipes under 300 calories) and LOVE the healthy ideas! You can also subscribe to her newsletters (emails) where she shares brilliant ways to swap out high calorie ingredients for low calorie (tasty) ingredients! http://www.hungry-girl.com/
(4) Okay people... I have done a lot of searching and reading about the whole Once A Month Cooking ideas and Freezer Meals. I am going back to the classroom for 10 weeks (not that I'm counting) and I know I will not want to come home and cook after teaching. Here is MY FAVORITE website to go to (Once A Month Mom)! At first you will need to spend time reading about what to do, how to do it, how to see & print the menus/recipe cards/shopping lists, etc. BUT...once you get it...IT'S AMAZINGLY HELPFUL!!!! I LOVE IT and wanted to share it with you!

(5) Rockin' Raspberry Bars recipe.
The recipe calls for 2 cups, however, as I mentioned...I don't follow recipes very well. Instead, I used
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups wheat flour
1/4 cup soy flour
more links and recipes to come.....
